Simplex-Turbulo welcomes Åge S. Wågene and positions itself as the authorised distributor for Wågene Purifiner technology in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal and Poland.
Simplex-Turbulo is delighted to become the authorised distributor for Wågene Purifiner technology in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal and Poland. Our advancement into this unique filtration technology ensures that we continue to grow our portfolio of innovative and specialist suppliers to the marine, offshore, chemical, power generation, water, and railway industries.
Norwegian engineer, Åge S. Wågene, started in business more than 40 years ago with air compressors and now focusses entirely on diesel and oil maintenance. Åge developed a highly effective product in 2001 that keeps oil clean by removing particles and water. Customers have benefitted enormously from this clever technology and more than 3,000 Wågene Purifiner cleaner units have been delivered to shipping, offshore and industry organisations. Many world-class marine companies have successfully implemented the Wågene Purifiner technology, notably Carnival Cruises, the world’s largest cruise line, and Bourbon Offshore France, one of the world’s largest supply ship companies.
Product highlights include: restoring oil to better than new condition, a reduction in water content and particles, low operating expenditure (annual consumable costs are approximately £500 for systems up to 3,000 litres), a reduction in oil becoming diluted by fuel and extending oil-change intervals by up to four times whilst maintaining viscosity. In addition, the units are relatively compact (with a weight of around 45kg) and can be carried by two people.
Simplex-Turbulo is excited by the huge cost savings that can potentially be passed on to our customers whilst directly helping them to increase their capacity for environmental responsibility. Demand for this technology is expected to be high.
